The HPE Smart Array P830 controller is a full height, half length, 12 Gb/s SAS capable, PCIe 3.0, RAID controller that provides enterprise class storage performance for select HPE ProLiant Gen8 rack servers and tower servers. It features 16 physical SAS/SATA lanes each capable of supporting 12 Gb/s or 6 Gb/s SAS or SATA protocol advanced storage functionality, such as advanced data mirroring, advanced data guarding, dual domain, makes it easier to protect the data.
