Personal Plus, 2Y

Carbonite Personal Plus. Number of years: 2 year(s)

Backup that won't slow you down.

It's not magic. It just seems that way. Carbonite's all about simplicity: set it and forget it. You continue to work as you normally would, while we work in the background automatically and continously backing up your new and changed files to the cloud. Plus, backup space is unlimited so you can rest assured your important files are protected.

Relax. Restore. Revert.

From floods & fires, to computer crashes, and even spilled lattes, one thing is certain: data loss is stressful. That's why Carbonite makes the restoration process simple.

If your computer crashes, is stolen, or just dies, you can log into your account from your new computer, click "Restore" and follow the step-by-step recovery process that will have your files back to you in no time.

Lost or (whoops!) accidently deleted a file? No problem. Your files remain on our servers for 30 days. During this time, you can recover the lost file right from your PC through your account dashboard.

Plus, with the versioning feature (available to Windows users), you can roll back to three months of previously saved file versions. It's like time travel for your data.

Security is in the details

If it’s important to you, it’s important to us – so keeping your irreplaceable data safe is our top priority. Your files remain encrypted at our data centers, and stored across a redundant array of enterprise-grade disk drives. Our datacenters are guarded 24-hours a day, additionally protected by:

- Temperature control
- Uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)
- On-site emergency backup generators with guaranteed fuel contracts
- Tightly restricted personnel access using biometric scanners
- Server access controlled with electronic key cards and PIN codes
- Guards on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
